Caterpillar (stylized as caterpillar) is one of only main supporting characters in WordWorld. Her first appearance is in Caterpillar Gets a Home.
History
Caterpillar first met Duck one rainy day and became interested in his nest. When Duck explains to her about homes, she realizes she does not have a home of her own, so Duck helps her find one. After trying a bag that was not strong enough against the wind, then a can that would flood with rain water, Caterpillar finally settles on a box as the right home for her.
Caterpillar would later be one of the students attending school alongside Bee, Bug, Duck, Dog, Fly, Shark, and Turtle.

Trivia
- Caterpillar is the second of two characters introduced in the second season, following Spider.
- There was once a Baby Einstein character of the same name, Caterpillar, which was introduced in late 2002.
